Baked Potato & Leek Soup with Bacon and Chives
I am still on a bit of a soup kick from last fall. Decided to try a new recipe for supper yesterday because I have so much spare time on my hands these days :)
Email me if you want the recipe. It's really quite amazing!

I am making it right now!! Can hardly wait to eat it! Roger is really going to love me tonight. He loves potatoe soup!
OK people, I was afraid of Leek's. I didn't think I had ever had them before. (Basically they are a veggie that tastes like onion)
This is a great recipe Rachel, My family is glad you shared it. I will be making it again.
another note: since I didn't have much time to make it I didn't allow things to cool and had a mishap with the blender. I know hot liquids explode in the blender so I thought I was being careful. I thought wrong. Don't make the same mistake. Less liquid, hold the lid down with a towel VERY TIGHT!
Please do! It sounds amazing!
Yum! This goes against my stupid diet, but it looks great!
Looks great! can you send me the recipie? fielde@shaw.ca
Kori - I did the same thing with pumpkin soup in my blender last week, covered myself and my kitchen!
A yah! I'd love the recipe... I LOVE soup :)
I'm not usually a soup fan, but wow does that look good! Recipe please. :)

I put some farmer sausage in ours. . .I think yours looks much nicer .. .I was going to post mine but go figure I forgot to take a picture when we ate, I have all the prep picture .. .but no finish ..
