A conversation between Chad and I yesterday as he ran into the house:
Chad: Mom! Can I go into Matthew's backyard?
Me: Why? (I am not generally comfortable with him out of sight while playing outside)
Chad: His dog and the neighbor dog are BREEDING!
Me: Do you know that that is?
Chad: Yeah.....it's what mammals do.
Me: No.

Chad was bummed...yes indeed. I'm just not going to let him unsupervised into a backyard I can't see from here to watch a Rotweiler and Ridgeback go at it!!!
