On Friday we are packing up the car and pointing it south. Destination....DISNEYLAND!
I am quite excited....obviously!
This is a completely impulsive and spontaneous trip. We had planned to go in October but changed our minds. I am a total planner so this was a bit out of my comfort zone but it feels pretty good!
The boys have NO idea....and boy, has it been hard keeping it a secret from them. We can't wait to tell them! I will videotape their reaction on Friday and if it's blog-worthy I'll share it with you all.
Anyhow....couldn't keep the secret much longer!

Oh my word! That's so exciting! I have always wanted to take my kids on a surprise vacation, but so far it hasn't happened. You guys are going to have a wonderful time, I'm sure. Say 'Hi' to Mickey from me. :)

Woohoo!! say hi to Mickey for me! I waited 34 years til I saw him the first time, my kids only had to wait 10. I will keep your secret from my boys!

Have a blast! We're only a 1.5 hr drive away from Disneyland. Make sure to wave hello as you drive through Bakersfield!! :)

I have such great memories of going there with you guys. The only downer for me was that dangnab Small World song that rang through my head for the next 23 years. But, I hear it is shut down right now due to mental issues with the staff, so you will be spared.

Have a great time Rachel! I have good memories from Disneyland when I was a kid, and we enjoyed EuroDisney with Ceara and seeing it through the eyes of a child. Your two are going to love it...what a brilliant surprise!!! Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back...safe trip!
