We attempted to find a little relief from the city heat today up at Harrison. My cousin Erin and her brood kept us company...thanks for coming along! I came home to find my house a toasty 31 degrees warm upstairs (love that the computer is in the basement!). The forecast is for 37 degrees tomorrow....this is not good news for a girl that doesn't really enjoy scorching hot weather unless she is in a tropical location with a fruity beverage in one hand. Functioning in 'real life' in the heat is quite unbearable!

Yikes, it sure was hot today. I can't imagine tomorrow. For the people from the South who read this... we do not have A/C in our homes so please don't think we are wimps :)

Looks like fun! I hear you about the heat! It's ok if you are by the ocean with a breeze and the option of jumping in to cool off but stuck in a house with no A/C is a bit torturous. Especially when someone's husband said he'd never be without it for another summer! What happened to that???
I am with you on this heat. Our place was an oven last night. It would not cool down. Crazy. So when do we leave to a tropical destination?
