Running out of Ideas

Here I am resorting to making Nathan do 'lines' for the most recent infraction. I'm totally out of punishment ideas that actually work. We'll see, in time, if this was even remotely successful!

*Note the spelling error. I've always thought avid readers were good spellers. Not true.

I think the trick to writing lines is making them do it more than once. The first time they fuss a bit but the next few times they really hate it and that's when you get to nag and remind them about what they did wrong :)

I just asked Karli and she said she HATES doing lines :)

Lines are a great punishment! Last night Curt was wrtiting out the 10 commandments! Sometimes it's a page from a book!

Yep, we've done the lines thing. I think it helps stick it into their brains. a bit of brainwashing maybe?
Hope it works!

Have you read Lisa Welchel's book, Creative Correction? She has lots of great ideas and reading her book always stirs up in my new ways to look at things and/or parent.
