Mr Sun Makes a Rare Appearance

My daffodils cannot believe they are getting some UV rays today!

There are little flowers cropping up all over the yard.

Chad asked me very nicely today to please bake him some chocolate chip zuchini muffins. So...I did! I don't even think he noticed I substituted some whole wheat flour for white flour. I like to sneak healthy bits into their food when ever possible.

Oh and these are the 100% unhealthy cookies I made. Double chocolate chip. Lots o'butter. No whole wheat flour. 100% delicious...if there are any left after Lent I'll have to sample one.

What a day that was. We had sun, rain, hail, snow, downpour and more sun!

The only thing missing was a rainbow!

Looks like you were baking up a storm... no pun intended :)

Sorry I've been so quiet lately, but I just checked in and caught up with everything. Did I hear correctly? "Zucchini" muffins? Wow, what a great idea! My mom made us savory zucchini cake when we were kids, and I loved it, so these sweet muffins seem like it would be very tasty.

Also, I send a big "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to the new grown up man in the house!

I am glad the sun is out, take advantage of it!

Maybe you actually did bake up a storm! The goodies look scrumptious and the flower so beautiful, you Sneaky-Whole-Wheat-Flour-Inserter, you!

Your baking looks yummy, I could smell the chocolate just through your photo!

Tee hee.....the family joke around here is "what did you sneak in THIS time????" any time I bake!!! I always sneak in ground flax seed and skim milk powder.... they never notice. It's like a game for me!!! Cane sugar, rye flour... I draw the line at carob chips! ;-)

Your flowers are beautiful! I'm so jealous. It will still be a few weeks before it will be warm enough for flowers to bloom in my yard.

Your baking looks scrumptious!

You are too kind! I don't think my photos are THAT great. I've seen much much better. I come from a family of excellent photographers. I wish I had a digital SLR. One day maybe!
