We had Nathan's family party this afternoon. Everyone made it 'cept for Uncle Murray....we missed you! He was busy being a studious student and we completely understood his absence. Nathan got some wonderful gifts and great surprise too. My dad took Nathan to a WHL hockey game about an hour into the party. Just said: Nate, get your coat. You and I are going out. So Nathan just did as he was told and off they went. A little while later Nathan called us from the game having the time of his life....so excited!!! So the rest of us partied on without the birthday boy. We hadn't gotten together for a while so it was nice to sit, visit and catch up!

You must mean the 'Phillips' box :) He got a clock radio. Now he can wake up for school on his own accord...he was quite pleased about that!
Oh you guys do family birthday parties, too! I remember always getting to pick my "favourite adults". What a wonderful weekend for your boy.

Glad you had fun celebrating. May I say that your hair looks beautiful all curly like that? Mind you, it always looks lovely, but haven't seen it curly before. :)
