Last Historica Project....Time to Celebrate!

It's tradition at King to do a big history project in grade 5 each year.  Having been through this with Nathan a few years back, we knew what to expect.  Actually, we knew to keep more of a 'hands-off' approach with the project.  Fortunately, they did about 85% of the project during class time.  The creative component was all that was required to be done at home.  One would think this would make a bunch of projects that look student-made.  Keith went to the open house at school today to see all the projects and was blown away by some of them.  So OBVIOUS that the parents did so much of the work.  It's ridiculous!
Anyhow...we were proud of Chad's work.  He chose the topic of the 'Siege of Louisbourg'.  I knew nothing about this battle up until a few weeks ago!

Glad this is behind us now.  Who even knows if there will be school this coming week with the pending job-action.  All I can say is that private schools rejoice when teachers walk off the job because it really helps our enrollment!
