Best thing about late summer is being able to enjoy hikes without the heat. I am so out of shape that I create my own climate zone with my huffing and puffing up the hills! We enjoyed a great afternoon out at Lindeman Lake last weekend with friends. If you've never been I recommend it as a great family hike. Liam was such a trooper but it was maybe a bit much for him. Especially during naptime.

I haven't been to Lindeman in many years but I do recall it being gorgeous. Also, I remember sitting on a rock reading while Brent fished and praying that I wouldn't be snapped up by any cougars roaming the area. But maybe that was just my overactive imagination. :)
