She's not 'all that' in the kitchen

Here I was making a cake. I had just added the flour to my batter and I guess I was day dreaming about my lovely morning/afternoon shopping with Kori sans children...pure bliss! Anyhow...I had meant to switch over the lever to lock the machine in the down position but instead cranked the mixer onto HIGH speed. POOF! Flour....magical flour every which where. This is a photo after I had cleaned up the splattered batter. I thought it was a blog-worthy moment.

Oh my! Even the door is all white with flour! Did you not take a photo of your powdered nose?

I'm so glad that there are others on this planet that do the things that I do. :)

Considering the mess the mixer made, the cake was awesome. Thank you so much for the great evening and wonderful food and company.

That's what my kitchen looks like every time I bake - Isn't that normal?

Sorry snooping over from Kristin's blog - Ps. Happy New Year - Many Blessings to you :)

Oops! That is okay, we all make those funny mistakes! Thankfully I've never photographed any of my many mistakes, otherwise, I'd no longer have any readers! (They'd probably think, "This lady is crazy and a danger in the kitchen!") But you know what? Looking at the flour makes me think you were really daydreaming about your handsome Keith!

Hi Rachel!

I found your blog by random and wanted to leave a comment regarding the MIXER MISHAP --- you aren't the only one, I've had a few mishaps in the kitchen too ; )

Fun site by the way, enjoyed my visit : )
