Triumph!

I beat Keith in a round of Scrabble this afternoon....he usually wins so this was a great change. I love word games and crossword puzzles and all things to do with letters. I definitely have inherited this from my dad's side of the family. My grandma was a great Scrabble champ!

These tulips were given to me last week by my dinner guests and now they are drooping. I really enjoy having fresh flowers on the mantle...they make the house look so pretty. Too bad they don't last longer!

I love scrabble! I used to play with my Oma too!
OHhhh, tulips. My absulute favourite flower! Gorgeous - even when they droop.

We have the deluxe board...it's wonderful to play on as your tiles stay where they should! Makes it ideal to play in bed :)

Yup! Live your dream and get the deluxe, Kristin! You will love it. Hmmm. And in bed, you say? Why didn't I think of that? (slaps forehead and imaginary lightbulb flicks on over my head). Brilliant idea! And congrats on the win.

I think you forgot to put the "T" beside the "U" in that Scrabble game. Other than that, looks great!

Hey Congrats on the win! Haven't played scrabble in years!

I think I've only played Scrabble once or twice and that was when I was a kid. I love word games, but Scrabble just doesn't appeal to me somehow.

Nice job beating Keith. There's something so rewarding about beating one's husband at a game, isn't there?

Love the tulips. They remind me of spring.

I enjoy a good game of scrabble too! Don't get to play enough though...
As for tulips, the stems continue to grow after they are cut. So give them a trim and they should stand up again. They like to stay cool too.

I didn't know that XI was even a word!

Just to clarify...those strange words are in the Scrabble booklet's list of two lettered acceptable words. Not sure of their meanings but if it says we can use 'em we do!
