Big Milestone!

Not sure if I'm crazy or very wise but I have achieved 15 years at my current job as of March 2, 2008. I was presented with the plaque below and this lovely crystal vase. The best part of my job are my co-workers for sure! The job itself....meh. I think that I am getting restless now and ready for a change. Who knows what the future may hold but changing employers would be a big deal for me! I like familiarity but nothing ventured nothing gained...or so I've heard.

Congratulations! That's quite an accomplishment. The vase is absolutely gorgeous. Now you just need someone to bring you a bouquet to put in it. :)

Congratulations Rachel! That is a long time for today's standards. I love the vase, but it should have come with flowers in it!

Longevity and loyalty look good on a resume when looking for a new position. Congratulations on the 15 years, but congratulations also on wanting something more and being willing to embrace change. I'm proud of you.

I've been feeling the EXACT same way lately. I've been with my employer for 14 years (would NEVER get a vase to show for it, though) and am looking for a change as well. I hear ya.
