34 Days and Counting!

PS. Any advice on surviving a 9+ hour international flight with a 9 month old?

Lots of patience, and make sure one of you gets an aisle seat!

Start crying and the stewardess will take him from you and introduce him to the captain. That should take up a few minutes.

Is he too big for the bassinet seat? Our lil grandson went to brazil at 2 months old. .but alas .. he wasn't too busy yet at that point.
Back in our day we relied on Phenergen .. .heavily. . but they don't sell that anymore either.
and hope that when he is sleepy and wants to sleep .. .so do you.
He is such a sweet little lad. I can't believe he is already playing with the Tupperware cupboard.

Try not to worry about what the other passengers are thinking if he does start melting down...there is so little you can do. Trust me, I know this after a 10+hour flight to Mexico with Clodagh last year! The only bad part about our two weeks there was knowing we had to fly back with her and do it all over again...she DID NOT sleep more than an hour! I truly hope for your sake that Liam will manage a few more hours!! Good luck!

Gravol for Liam and a little Irish drinkie-drink for mommy :)

Would it be wrong to put Baily's in his bottle! hehe

Hide some of his favorite toys for a week or two before you go so you have something new and exciting to give him on the plane. And lots of snacks!

I have a twirling flashlight thingie (think ufo with flashing lights) that you should for sure take with you.... seriously, Shawn's cousin flies with their very young son and that was the only saving grace when the baby wasn't old enough to watch the portable dvd player on flights!!!!

And meds..... knock those three boys right out with cold medicine!!! :-)
