Busted

Yesterday I got quite a scare. My body told me in not so many words that something was quite wrong.
I was at the doctor's this morning and was assured I am okay but need to slow down a bit.
I was going full throttle much too soon. It's so hard for me to take it easy.
My doctor completely understood once Keith told him I was Mennonite. He said...'Aha! I married a Mennonite woman too. They are from good stock...hard workers.'
So I am going to attempt to tone it down this week. I think I'd better hit the library and stock up on some good reads!

I'm the same way and think I told you how I got reprimanded on the street by complete strangers. Hope you are able to find peace while taking it easy, and I hope you feel better soon. :)

Oh dear. Commanded to take it easy and rest. Not always the easiest command to obey is it? Although I'd love to give it a whirl myself. :)

Glad you are listening to your doc! Rest up, you won't be able to milk the excess help around the house for too long ;)

Take advantage of this time... enjoy some tlc & food tv. Maybe when you are past this stage you will have a bunch of new recipes to try :)

so one would think that if you have to "slow down" that said "slower downer" would have more time to blog?!?!?

hmmm, I guess not, just coming back looking for more pictures of your little dumplin' ~ I've got the itch, the pregnancy itch, can you hear my ovaries screaming?

that's funny. we're from "good stock." although, i wonder if i truly am mennonite if i have no desire to have children. i thought we were all meant for that ... have 18 kids while working in a field and go back to planting whatever it was you were planting ... while breastfeeding. hmm, i'm going to look into my heritage a little closer. ;)

you're doing an amazing job. seriously. watching my friends have children has made me appreciate my mom (and dad, too ... kinda hee hee) a lot more. i've heard that it's incredibly rewarding as well, but i still think you all don't hear the words "thank you" enough. i'm going to send my mom an email right now.
