The doorbell rang tonight.
I answered it (fully expecting the neighborhood brats....errr, I mean children) but found a man in his mid sixties or so.
Man: Are your parents home?
Me: I AM the parent.
Oh, does he know he completely made my day?!?!?
Anyhow he was from a local church and wanted to make sure we have a church home....etc etc.

You fell for the oldest trick in the book. But, having said that, I can see why he may have been genuine. You do look might fine for an oldster. Kinda' like your mom. ( I had to say that, for obvious reasons)
