I showed up at work today.

Yeah, it was my day off.
Oh dear.
***UPDATE***
I decided to stay at work and take Wednesday off in lieu. Turned out to be a great decision as we were all treated to Caramilk Cheesecake and I got to hear the announcement of my co-worker winning a trip to VEGAS through a staff promotion!

I had MANY moments like that...maybe too many. One time I drove to the supermarket and then remembered that I left a pot of noodles cooking on the stove. When I came home, the house was full of smoke and it took me about an hour to get the stench and smoke out of the house and the noodles out of the pot.
It could be worse - you could have been lounging around in your PJ's thinking all was right with the world until Kori called and said "WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU!"

Colleen stole the words right out of my mouth. That would definitely be the worse scenario of the two.
I love it! Too funny. To think, you were all dolled up and raring to go for a great day off :)

Did you happen to enquire of the recipe? That would have made the oops a perfect reason to be there.
I do stuff like that all the time if that makes you feel any better. My doctor calls it "builders brain", as it got a lot worse since we started building our house...

All my friends' memories went out the window when they were pregnant. When it happened to my first friend I thought she was just using it as an excuse, but after it happened to the 2nd, 3rd etc I realized it must linked to pregnancy. Bizarre, but at least you got a great dessert out of it.
